"No." I tucked my legs beneath me and settled my arms on top of the pillow on my lap. "No." Dera rolled her eyes before holding up another dress for me to try on. "Absolutely no to that one."
Letting out a dramatic sigh and throwing her hands above her head, she fell forwards on to her bed. Lifting her head, her eyes met mine. "Dammit Carlie, unless you're planning on going naked, I think you should just pick something to wear."
We had been in Dera's bedroom rummaging through her clothes for the past hour and a half. Adan had called - not that I could hear him properly with Dera pressed against my cheek trying to listen - and told me to be ready by eight.
That left me two hours.
Two. Freaking. Hours.
To make things worse, I still had no idea where we were going. All Adan said was to wear something nice. What the hell was 'nice'? I wasn't sure whether it was just me or if every other girl would share this problem if they were in my shoes.
