"Daniel, I wouldn't lie about this, and you know that. She left last night." I said as a single tear dropped from my eye. "NO! YOU'RE LYING, SHE'S NOT GONE! SHE'S WITH LUKE!" I was about to say something but then Daniel broke down completely and started crying. "She can't be gone, she can't be! She promised she wouldn't leave. She promised me!" he started crying even more and my mother immediately went and held him as he cried. "Daniel, she didn't mean to leave, she had to, people were being mean to her and hurting her." My father said patting his head. Right now I didn't care, I let my tears run free as I cried.

"Then why didn't you help her!" Daniel asked angrily. "If she was hurting and people were being mean to her why didn't you help her?" he cried out.

"Son, I only found out last night. I guarantee you if I knew about this earlier, anyone who harmed her would be dead." My father said clenching his fists as he probably began thinking of people hurting Ellie.
