Anaya put down her fork and knife. "Maybe I didn't make it clear before. I think we should..."
Hearst interrupted rudely, "Anaya, I won't push you, and I hope you do not intentionally avoid me."
His handsome face was as calm and indifferent as usual, but his words did not allow any comment.
Looking at Hearst, Anaya was a little at loss about what to do. She did not say anything else but silently ate.
After lunch, Anaya got up to leave.
Hearst came out of the door with Anaya. "I'll drop you home."
Anaya stopped at the door. "Thank you, but I'm good. I drove here."
"Has the injury on your shoulder healed?"
"Almost. It'll be fine when the scar disappears."
Anaya had been applying medication for scar removal recently. The scar would leave no trace after a while.
Hearst nodded. "Take care."
"See you next time."
Anaya left Cloud Villa for the hospital where Adams was staying.
