Chapter 73 She Can't Do Anything

A male voice came from the living room, and then a man walked in quickly.

Anaya saw that it was Hearst.

She suspected that she heard it wrong because she was sick.

Anaya heard Hearst call her Ana.

Before she could think clearly, Hearst bent down and picked Anaya up. He walked out of the kitchen and gently placed her on the sofa in the living room.

His movements were careful as if Anaya was a fragile doll.

Hearst squatted in front of Anaya and looked up at her slightly. There was a trace of worry on his usually cold and reserved face, as well as other emotions that she could not understand.

"Why did you fall?" Hearst asked softly.

For some reason, Anaya felt a little wronged when he asked this question.

Anaya thought that perhaps it was because she had a cold that she became so sentimental, like a teenage girl.

Her voice was hoarse and rough. "I just want to boil some water."

"And then?" Hearst asked.
