Chapter 375 Clearing the Air

This meal was eaten in an unusually quiet atmosphere.

Half an hour later, everyone gradually put down their cutlery.

"Dilys, once you've had enough to eat, you can go home first. Don't worry about the Quain residence for now. After the New Year, I'll be turning 98. I want to catch up with the times and celebrate my birthday. After that, I'll visit your mother's grave, as she's buried there. I feel like I don't have much time left, so I want to spend some time with her. When the time comes, I'll leave the Quain residence to you, and you can decide what to do with it."

Dilys didn't speak, but stood up and silently nodded. The family then left together.

As they left the restaurant, Zezili cheered, "Fantastic! The Quain residence is ours now! I don't know what Tristan and his family were thinking. If they had given us the Quain residence earlier, they could have made some money. But now, they won't get a single penny!"
