Jason secretly rejoiced that he appeared late enough, and that Angelina interrupted him in the middle. Otherwise, he would hardly get himself out of the mess.

"It's good to see you're fine. I'm off now," Angelina breathed a sigh of relief, and said to Nathan.

"Thank you for coming to help me, Ms. Hopp." Nathan nodded and waved goodbye to her.

After Angelina left, Nathan entertained David and Ryan in the reception room.

Hannah was busy dealing with company affairs, such trifles as the serving of tea naturally became Gussie's duty.
