"You're right, I could easily kill him, but there's no need," Nathan said calmly, looking at Kingston expressionlessly.
"Oh? He's of no use to us and he's challenging us, so why not just kill him?" Kingston replied.
"Killing him would only tarnish your reputation, Kingston. Keeping him alive would be a warning to others," Nathan responded with a hint of logic.
Kingston couldn't help but chuckle. "You have a point there," he said.
"But how do you plan to make up for killing a commander without my permission?"
"And on top of that, you blocked me?" Kingston asked.
"Jade ordered me to do it. If you have a problem with it, take it up with her," Nathan replied calmly.
He was talking bullshit.
If Jade were there, she would have smashed Nathan's head in before asking any questions.
"Why did Jade want Anson dead? He was relatively harmless to me," Kingston frowned.
