Nathan announced the adjournment and then instructed his secretary to bring Seeney to his office.

Hannah greeted Seeney with a handshake upon meeting her.

Seeney politely greeted everyone in the office except for Nathan, who was obviously annoyed by her direct snub.

"Looks like Seeney is still holding a grudge from the last time I angered her. It seems like she hasn't cooled down yet," Nathan thought to himself.

Hannah and Gussie couldn't help feeling a bit of schadenfreude upon noticing that Seeney didn't greet Nathan. They thought to themselves, "Mr. Evans deserves it for not being likable."

Nathan quickly stood up and extended his hand to Seeney, saying, "Hello there, Mrs. Kent!" with a cheerful smile.

"Oh... Hello," Seeney replied indifferently before brushing past him and sitting down on the couch.

Nathan was furious and rolled his eyes, thinking to himself, "Seeney is being so disrespectful!"
