Chapter 56 Alice's Suspects

After arriving at the kindergarten, Sue saw Charles and took the initiative to let Betty go.

Charles took Betty and said to Sue, "Thank you, Ms. Lyon!"

"You're welcome!" Sue smiled.

Charles asked Sue, "Ms. Lyon, how is your mother?"

"Her condition has stabilized," Sue told Charles. "Mr. Garcia, about the money..."

Sue hadn't finished speaking when Charles interrupted her.

"Ms. Lyon, never mind. Just pay me when you have money."

Charles waved at Sue and turned to leave with Betty in his arms.

Sue stood where she was and stared at Charles until his back completely disappeared.

Sue sighed and said to herself, "Alas! I gotta work harder to earn money and repay the debt!" She took out a business card and then dialed the number on it. "Sir, I will have time to tutor your child next week. Oh, okay! Let's make appointments later."
