Chapter 52 Two Missed Text Messages

In a restaurant in the square, the lights on the side of the road had already become dim, yet the street outside the door was still empty.

It was ten o'clock.

In the blink of an eye, it was eleven o'clock.

In the process of waiting, time passed quickly before one could realize it.

Soon, it was two o'clock in the morning.

All the cinemas in Los Angeles were closed. One couldn't catch a movie right now whatsoever.

John seemed to have guessed something. He got up, sighed silently, and drove away, leaving Kiley alone in her seat.

The fine clothes she usually dug were so dull right now.

One wore fine clothes for someone they cared about.

Unfortunately, that someone didn't show up.

"Trent... You don't have feelings for me at all... Right?" Kiley's eyes were full of tears. She took out her phone, and still, no one texted her back.
