Standing in front of Olive Garden, Nina looked forlorn. She had nowhere to go but home. Nina would leave the alley and take a taxi back home. She couldn’t stay out all night. Her unborn child’s safety was more important than anyone or anything.
The alley was oddly quiet, which scared Nina. She continued at a hurried pace. But even though she was careful, danger came without warning.
Just when Nina was only a few feet away from the entrance of the alley, a few sketchy men emerged from the darkness. The men had seen her earlier and knew that she was not alone.
Nina could tell that these men were up to no good and moved away from them before attempting to make a run for it.
"Hey, hey, where are you going so fast, beautiful?" One of the men said as he blocked Nina’s way. He grinned evilly before greeting several other companions.
Nina took a step back, and within seconds, she was surrounded by six other men.
