Melissa watched the live broadcast of the press conference online. She kept herself calm and did not let her emotions take over.
Just watching the two sisters cry so sadly, they should’ve just kept lying to them, but how could they?
"Mrs. Gibson, Mr. Gibson told me to take you to the hospital for a check-up later," the assistant said. She was in her early twenties. Even though new to her job, she was very serious.
"No, I’m fine, I don’t need a medical examination." Melissa refused without thinking.
"No.Mr. Gibson said you have been stimulated too much. He wants to ensure you are okay," the assistant persisted.
Melissa laughed outright when she heard this. It wasn’t easy to shake off the assistant’s persistent behavior.
"Okay, okay, I’ll go," Melissa said. She followed the assistant to the car. Just as she was getting in, Murray pulled up.
As soon as he got out of the car, he ran to Melissa and hugged her tightly.
