For a moment, the atmosphere was awkward.
Rebekah and Jason pulled long faces. Alexa could tell that they were angry.
However, Giselle was not frightened at all. Instead, she sat on the side with an unhappy face.
At last, Keyon broke the deadlock.
"Rebekah, Jason, it's rare to see you here. Why don't we take the opportunity to get together?"
"Thanks, Mr. Duran. But I don't think Mrs. Duran is happy to see us here," Rebekah politely refused.
Rebekah mocked Giselle subtly several times in just a few minutes, humiliating Giselle more each time.
"I think there might be some misunderstanding." Keyon was still polite. "I wonder if you can give me and Giselle a chance to apologize to you."
"Keyon..."
Giselle said angrily. Just as she was about to say something, she stopped, as she met Keyon's cold eyes.
"No need. Goodbye." Rebekah held Alexa's hand.
