The most infuriating thing was Braden's reaction.
Perhaps he was unhappy, but when he passed by Shirley, he just ignored her.
This scene was so awkward that Keith wanted to hide away.
"Shirley, don't be angry. You know Braden. He's cold outside but warm inside. He might be angry because you hurt his self-esteem just now, so..."
"It doesn't matter."
Shirley shrugged and looked in the direction where Braden and Alina left. She said coldly, "Didn't I just say that I would like to cut ties with him? How could I be angry?"
"Are you not angry?"
Keith tilted his head and stared at Shirley's face closely. He then teased her, "Why do I feel like your facial features are about to be distorted from anger?"
Shirley was speechless.
To be honest, Keith was not talking nonsense.
She was indeed angry. But she was angry at Alina instead of Braden.
