The atmosphere instantly became tense again. Everyone looked at Braden, waiting for his answer.
Braden slowly sipped his wine and said meaningfully, "I was fearless in the past. What I fear the most now is that my wife will leave me."
"You're simply a helpless romantic. Braden, can you be a real man?"
Keith waved his hand and felt that this answer was already within his expectations. There was nothing new about it.
Nancy couldn't help but retort, "Can you not show off your affection without warning? We don't have to eat roasted lamb legs anymore. We have already been full because of your overflowing love."
Shirley was very calm. Her beautiful lips curled up into a shallow smile. She looked gentle and calm, but there was an indescribable coldness in her eyes.
Shirley crossed her legs and wrapped herself in a blanket. She asked Braden, "Can I ask you a question?"
Braden shrugged, his expression calm. "Sure."
