Chapter 38 : Bloody Kisses

Dee’s POV

There was something wrong with Chase Bradley.

I couldn’t put into words the strange disconnect I felt about him, but I knew it was there. It wasn’t in his personality or in his actions. Chase was like Prince Charming, almost too agreeable and likable to be anything but some type of one-dimensional stock character. It’s like he had a script for each answer one of the women in our group threw at him, and those who knew him, they joked about how he was “giving spy answers” and how he must work for the CIA.
