I looked up from my mug of cocoa, upset that I hadn’t caught that drop of chocolate before it plunged off the side and splattered all over the front of my baby blue dress. Great, just great. What else could possibly go wrong today?


“I don’t know, CC.” I put my mug down, looking for one of those bleach pens that Alexis had given me. “I just feel like he’s cheating on me.”
