I pushed back from the table, patting my over-full belly. I blew a long breath past my lips, finally really relaxing, and shook my head.
“I don’t think I can eat another morsel, guys.”
Oliver shook his head.
“That’s terrible, Mila. I just restocked your favorite ice cream…”
I raised an eyebrow at him. He leaned back in his kitchen chair, too, patting his own belly.
“We would both explode, Oliver, I swear.”
Lucas chuckled, patting his own belly.
“She’s right, you know. Right now, I don’t even want to walk. Just let me fall on the floor and roll me over by the fire.”
I giggled at the mental image of me trying to roll Lucas anywhere.
“Shut up, Lucas. You’re huge. You outweigh me by at least a hundred pounds…”
Oliver shrugged.
“You’re surprisingly strong for your size, Mila. I believe in you.”
Dr. Ethan chuckled and slapped Oliver on the arm.
“You just want to see her try it.”
