Lunch with Eric and the trip down memory lane at the elementary school have given me a lot to think about. I am still considering Marcus’ offer but I’ve already said yes to Eric, so I feel bad that I am still seriously considering also going out with Marcus.


On the one hand, Eric is an old friend. I’m comfortable with him. We work well together and always have. And then, on the other hand, Marcus is new and fresh. He is a little bit too much of a player and a huge flirt, but he is also very sweet and fun. Eric is someone that I was always able to be myself around, but now it’s like we’re learning how to get that back, or learning how we can be more.


Eric is my friend, or at least he was and is starting to be again. He was my best friend for many years, and I haven’t ever thought about him being more. Yes, we lost our virginities to each other but that was because we trusted each other and wanted to have that experience before going off to college.
