Untitled Chapter_1

In front of the Daming Palace, dark clouds churned, and the atmosphere was oppressively tense.

The guard captain's face was pale, appearing quite anxious, while opposite him, the prime minister was expressionless, his turbid eyes sharp and piercing.

They emitted waves of murderous intent, which, enveloping the captain, made him even more nervous.

He knew this prime minister all too well: decisive, resolute, and ruthless.

Who knows how many officials had died at the prime minister's hands? Otherwise, how could he have earned the nickname 'Iron-blooded Prime Minister'?

He even suspected that if he continued to hesitate, the prime minister would directly order his execution.

The atmosphere grew more and more stagnant, and the civil and military officials outside the Daming Palace began to stir restlessly.

Clearly, they too sensed that something was amiss and were slightly unsettled.

The guard captain was almost in despair, unsure of what to do.
