A shudder ran through me. Babe.
"Sorry, babe. You're on your own." His voice echoed in my head and I pushed it down again. I flickered my gaze up to glare at Cormac. "Don't call me that." I growled, pushing him aside to slip into the room.
"Sorry..." he breathed, caught off guard. "But this whole pack thing is a lot more serious than ya think, Dusty."
"I know, I know." I breathed angrily. "Y'all are worried I'll go off and tell everyone about y'all. Reveal yer secret. Yea, yea, but I won't."
"Josh don't trust ya yet." He replied calmly. "He don't even have a reason why ya want ta join that pack."
