edit,   I suddenly laughed. For the longest time, I was convinced that Galvin was tough to live with, what with his stoic expression and all. But at this moment, I realized that I was wrong. Galvin is a boss with a cold face and a warm heart. His assistance has really meant a lot to me lately and has been a source of comfort during challenging times.

  After work, I stood at the office floor, ready to take a taxi to my new home. I was stunned for a while. It was getting dark. It was going to rain. I stood my ground and instead of waiting for a taxi, a black Mercedes pulled up in front of me. The window rolled down slowly and Galvin's face appeared. "Where? I'll take you."

  "It's OK," I waved my hand and said, "I'll just take a taxi."

  "Natalie," Galvin called out to me, then looked at me blankly and said domineering, "I'm not asking for your advice. I'm ordering you in."
