"Brother Ryan, I'll make you some coffee," Giselle said with eagerness.
Kevin Cliff didn't look up or respond, but she took it as consent and wiggled her way out.
"That woman is so annoying!" Chris was the first to make a face of frustration.
Charlotte Green laughed softly, "Little devil in a small package."
"Chris, you can't be so impolite," Kevin Cliff said sternly.
Chris pouted and snuggled into Charlotte Green's embrace, making sure to leave a bit of space to taunt the man in front of the desk.
However, Charlotte Green felt that Chris was being wronged and looked at Kevin Cliff displeasedly, "How can you raise your voice like that? I think Chris has a point."
Kevin Cliff frowned, "The saying 'too much love spoils the child' seems true."
Charlotte Green's face turned red, "What 'loving mother'? I'm not his mother, don't misuse phrases. If you like her so much, go work outside, there's no need to squeeze in here."
