Chapter 1016: Where on Earth is the Child?

Jaylene Ziel gave birth prematurely, and Joseph Thompson did not notify Thompson Manor immediately because one of the babies was missing, and he didn't know how to break the news to the family.

In the beginning, he still harbored the illusion that he could find the child, but in the blink of an eye, three days had passed, and not the slightest bit of information about the child had been found.

The doctor said the child was quite weak at birth and might not survive 72 hours without proper care.

So, for these three days, he had arranged for some people to look into Oscar Smith, while others watched over various hospitals, checking to see if any had admitted a newborn.

However, after three whole days, which is to say the 72 hours mentioned by the doctor had passed, there was still no news of any Neonatal Department admitting the newborn.
