Chapter 1065: I Really Regret It Now

Anna's face flushed slightly, yet she indeed felt a bit unstable without something to hold on to, leaving her no choice but to reach out and grasp Jeremy Thompson's arm, and together they headed toward the nearby parking lot.

Upon arriving at the nearby parking lot, Jeremy let Anna stand there with the umbrella, while he went to drive the car over.

Anna watched his silhouette moving forward in the rain, feeling somewhat bewildered.

The black Volkswagen Phaeton pulled up beside her, her lips twitched slightly. The car, just like its owner, seemed deep and restrained.

"Hurry up and get in," Jeremy had already opened the passenger car door for her, holding her arm in one hand while taking the large umbrella from her to hold it for her.

Protected by him, Anna sat in the passenger seat, feeling a bit uneasy all over even though only the hem of her pants was wet. Although it was the second time she had been in this car, it was the first time she sat in the passenger seat.
