Chapter 1149: Saying One Thing and Meaning Another

"Anna, let's go up and open the door first. Dad will come up by himself, we don't need to wait for him together, it'll waste time." Xaviar, pulling Anna Ainsworth's hand, walked towards the entrance hall without any intention of waiting for Jeremy Thompson to come up with them.

Anna Ainsworth didn't know what to say and could only follow the child. They quickly took the elevator upstairs, and then Xaviar used his little finger to input the fingerprint and unlocked the door.

As soon as they entered, Anna Ainsworth took Xaviar to the restroom, got a small towel, and began washing his face. Every time she wiped, she noticed he grimaced and made a hissing sound from his mouth.

"Does it hurt a lot?" Anna Ainsworth asked with concern, lightening her touch.

Xaviar shook his head with a smile, "It's not very painful, just a little bit. I can handle it; it's not like it's a serious injury."
