"'Calling for Grandmother won't help,'" Irene Clarins rebuked unappreciatively on the phone, "Connor, I'll repeat what I said this afternoon. If you must divorce Anna, then it's not just Emma Osborne becoming estranged from our Osborne Family, but you too will have to cut off ties with the Osborne Family."
Connor Osborne didn't like to hear this, and immediately responded with dissatisfaction, "Grandmother, whatever you say, Emma and I both grew up in the Osborne Family. Anna only married into the Osborne Family five years ago. I know she's a good daughter-in-law, but surely she's not so good that you would disregard me and Emma just for her sake, right?"
"Anna is not only a good daughter-in-law, but she is also a kind-hearted and loyal person. She's someone you won't find again in your lifetime once you let her go."
