Feeling suddenly bereft of his support, the place on her body that had been against him seemed to be missing something. Her eyes unconsciously darted to the space between Jeremy's thighs, and upon seeing him rise, she quickly averted her gaze, her heart unexpectedly fluttering with a pounding beat.
Seeing her like this, the smile on Jeremy's cheeks deepened, his eyes shimmering in the dim lighting with a thin layer of flowing light.
"Let's go, weren't you going to see your younger brother?" Jeremy stood up, looking at her as she still appeared dazed, standing there.
"I... haven't you gone up yet?" Anna was unsure if Jeremy had already been upstairs on his own.
"I just went up to see him," Jeremy responded truthfully, "I was waiting for you downstairs. Go ahead up."
