Chapter 131: That Night at the Bar

The next morning, during breakfast, Penny Sullivan tried to subtly probe, "Did you catch the shooter? Why did he so ruthlessly attack Ella?"

Arthur Lindsey calmly continued eating his breakfast without even pausing, answering coldly in between bites, "Now is dinner time, those are not your concerns."

"I know, son. I'm just asking."

Penny put down her bowl and smoothly shifted the topic. "I'm really worried about our Ella. She didn't come back home all night, and no news from her. My heart is quite anxious."

However, before she could finish, Arthur abruptly cut her off, "Even if she didn't return for a month, it has nothing to do with us!"

Then, Arthur threw his bowl and chopsticks fiercely onto the ground, smashing them then left the Lindsey Family home without looking back...
