Chapter 476

King's villa.

Ella Thompson anxiously awaited outside Alvin Lindsey's room as Ukraine's top surgeon was inside, treating the wounds left by the gunshot.

One hour later.

The doctor emerged, removed his blue mask, and Ella grabbed him, asking, "Is His Majesty safe now?"

"Yes, Miss Thompson, do not worry, the bullet has been removed. Fortunately, it did not hit the heart, and the wounds have all been stitched up," he replied.

The experienced surgeon paused slightly to relay, "However, I did find an old wound on the king's chest. With this new injury, it might take half a year of rest to fully recover."

An old wound?

Was it due to the wound inflicted by Harry North at Cliff's End?

"Dr. Du, do you mean that the king needs to be bedridden at home for half a year?" asked the butler, Mr. Deng.

"It would be best that way, though some moderate activities are also allowable."

As Dr. Du packed up his things, Mr. Deng escorted him out of the king's villa.
