After the business discussion, Harold intended to invite the couple for dinner, but Victor politely declined.
The couple bade farewell to Harold and his mansion, Victor drove Monica back to the hotel. On the way, Victor couldn't resist asking, "How does it feel interacting with a child?"
"A bit exhausting…" Monica pondered a moment before answering, "Katherine is really quite a handful."
"Okay, I'll remember that." Victor responded suddenly.
"Huh?"
"In future, our child mustn't be too naughty," said Victor in all seriousness.
Monica chuckled, looking at Victor: "Do you think kids are something you can selectively breed?"
"I could teach…"
Upon hearing these words, Monica couldn't help but imagine Victor sitting sternly on the living room sofa while a little tyke stood in front of him admitting his mistakes. A touching sight it would be.
"Really wanna have one?"
