Brady Anderson reached out and embraced Avery Sheen, taking a look around at the house before placing its key on the glass tea table. He spoke in a calm voice, "This house, it's now the most valuable thing I own. I'm leaving it to you. It's a good choice whether you live in it or sell it."
Mr. and Mrs. Strickland were taken aback, they glanced at each other and questioned Brady, "Are you giving us the house? Do you think we're after your money?"
"Brady, now that you have attached yourself to the rich miss, you are indeed going to forget all your promises to Alanna…" Mrs. Strickland broke into sobs instantly.
"Alanna is dead. Do you want me to spend the rest of my life with her ashes?" Brady's voice became colder by a few degrees. "Not to mention you're not my biological parents, so you have no right to interfere. Even if you do, this is my own life. You've already gotten what you want. Do you still think that's not enough?"
