"Professor Nicholson, you really don't understand romance," sighed Elissa Barlow helplessly.
"You're a student, I'm a teacher. Please be mindful of your status and your language choice," Clear Lee Greenwood said, then announced to his class, "Class dismissed."
For some reason, Terry Chadwick saw a hint of strictness from Clear Lee Greenwood's response to Elissa, as if he was wary of her.
Afterward, Elissa sought out Professor Nicholson's office but failed to meet him in person.
In the afternoon, Terry received a phone call from Clear Lee Greenwood, inviting her out for dinner. Taking advantage of the situation, Terry voiced her doubts.
"I always feel that you're particularly strict with Elissa. Do you know her from before?"
Surprise flashed in Clear Lee Greenwood's eyes momentarily before he laughed, "So, you've already noticed such subtle changes in my emotions."
"I have been observing for four years, haven't I?" Terry protested indignantly.
