Chapter 1249: It's a Waste to Beat You, You're Asking for It

Winna Campbell, engulfed in shadows, dared not open her mouth, only able to nod repeatedly.

Samuel Campbell shouted, "Hurry, hurry… to the hospital, quick."

The people he summoned immediately carried Winna away. Before leaving, Samuel turned to look back, only to see Scarlett Glenn already standing at the entrance, her red lips curled up in a cold smile, her eyes devoid of any goodwill.

Samuel squinted his eyes.

Scarlett, unflinching, stared back at Samuel, her smile on her face even more direct.

That was just the way she was. Once she sought revenge, it wasn't a simple tit-for-tat. Child's play, that was.

For punishment, she had obviously made sure Winna would deeply remember, ensuring she'd never dare think of retaliating.

Samuel's face betrayed little emotion; he gave Scarlett a deep look before turning away.

Scarlett scoffed, "This man is quite cunning."
