"Ivy..."
"There's no need to say more. You should hurry back and check on things. I'm fine here, Oliver and Julia are at home. It's okay!"
Before Michael could finish speaking, Ivy cut him off. She couldn't let a man who had done so much for her fall into the path of unfilial behavior.
Moreover, her intuition told her that something major might be happening in the Gordon family.
"Good!" Michael nodded, then leaned down and gently kissed her slightly protruding abdomen. "Daddy will be back soon, so you two behave and stay inside mommy's belly."
"Alright, hurry up and go. Our babies are hoping their grandpa will be fine!"
As she spoke, Ivy pushed him a little more so that he would leave quickly.
Hearing the word 'grandpa,' Michael hesitated for a moment, his body stiff with surprise. Hearing the title 'Grandpa' from Ivy unexpectedly warmed his heart, especially since Calvin Gordon hadn't treated her like a proper grandparent should have.
"Thank you, Ivy!"
