Chapter 78: Choosing Which One

"Huff."

H'el let out a sigh of relief as he gently descended from the sky.

The first layer of the Golden Barrier was complete, covering Nevada and Arizona, and it had ceased expanding. The automatic construction of the second layer in the stratosphere had begun.

Even for H'el, using nanomachines to expand his bio-magnetic field by a hundredfold in breadth, strength, and precision, and then entering the subatomic realm to manipulate protons according to the circuit arrangement, was a draining task.

One should understand that he was entering the realm of the microscopic, even smaller than atoms. To venture into the subatomic domain, he had to forcefully interfere with the movement of protons, arranging them as he desired.

The precision was akin to an ordinary person picking out a specific grain of sand in the Sahara with their hands or blocking a speeding truck with their bare hands. It was as if the naked eye had to perceive the breadth of the solar system.

The complexity, the interplay of forces, and the twisting control of interactions all demanded H'el's complete concentration and focus to accomplish. Moreover, in the subatomic realm, he experienced a sensation of one second feeling like a thousand years.

The interplay between the microcosm and reality would undoubtedly drive life forms with weaker endurance to madness.

Both psychologically and physiologically, H'el experienced intense fatigue.

After completing the first layer of the Golden Barrier and allowing the second layer in the stratosphere to self-construct, H'el decided to take a break.

His robust physique and mental strength were so mighty that when he descended from the subatomic realm to the ground, he quickly recovered and adjusted to normal.

The sky was covered by the golden barrier, and beneath its dazzling brilliance, shadows were cast.

H'el, standing on the ground in his black battle attire, had well-defined muscle contours beneath the black armor. A black cape hung behind him, and his deep eyes scanned the surroundings.

"Where is my guardian, Megatron?"

All around him were countless soldiers dressed in military green combat suits, their faces tense with anticipation, and their gazes stunned as they watched him descend.

Over thirty thousand army combat units, twelve M1A2 main battle tanks with 120mm 44-caliber M256 smoothbore gun barrels, armored personnel carriers like the AMPV, armored reconnaissance vehicles like the Tpz-1, and more, all adjusted and aimed at him as he descended.

Various XM307s, M163 Vulcan air defense systems, vehicle-mounted cannons, M1919A4 heavy machine guns, all mounted on jeeps and armored vehicles, pointed their barrels at him.

Adolf, the white-haired General, had arrived at Hoover Dam an hour ago. The reason for his presence at the nearby Nevada border military base was to prepare for this very situation.

The "person" standing before them possessed the AllSpark, the source of their power, which was the reason for Hoover Dam's existence and the purpose of the Nevada border military base.

And this "person" had created the Golden Barrier that now covered Nevada and Arizona, possessing the ability to destroy the Earth.

"Welcome, cosmic visitor. May I know your name? What is it that you wish to accomplish on Earth? Or can I introduce you and offer some insignificant Earth travel recommendations?" General Adolf, with his white mane of hair, involuntarily furrowed his brow.

In the past, when he scolded these young soldiers on the border military base's training ground, the blazing sun overhead always forced him to squint, causing wrinkles to appear on his face as he endured the sun's intense heat alongside the soldiers.

Now, without the sun shining down, the situation was even worse. The shadowy environment felt chilling, making him wrinkle his face.

'It seems Megatron and Blackout have fled. What a shame, you've missed the greatest opportunity,' H'el sighed for them.

He had rarely considered recruiting any subordinates, and there was no need for it.

'I didn't even do anything to them,' he thought, surprised by their actions of betrayal without any prior communication.

H'el had initially planned to have them guard him while he absorbed solar energy, but it appeared that Megatron had missed a significant chance.

H'el scanned his surroundings but had no intention of engaging in any dialogue with the army troops who had surrounded him, shrouded in shadows.

With their barrels aimed at him, there was no need for pretense.

*Buzz.*

The AllSpark in H'el's left palm flowed smoothly like water, small cubic particles continuously appearing, and the inner space began to fold, repeat, and circulate, transforming the electronic machinery into source code for Transformers.

Fundamentally, H'el didn't have the ability to control the AllSpark itself.

What he controlled was the internal spatial folding, arrangement, opening, and closing of the Allspark, allowing the source code to flow out according to his intentions.

This was the same technique he used when enhancing Bumblebee.

The inner space of the Allspark was easier to perceive than the vastness of the entire universe. As H'el made contact, he could immediately assess the extent of control he could exert.

As H'el infused his psychic power into the AllSpark, the transcribed source code mixed with his own, allowing him to have deep control over the birth of Transformers from the AllSpark.

From now on, Transformers born from the AllSpark would carry his name in their genetic code, taking on the shapes he desired.

H'el scanned the numerous metallic machines, jeeps, M1A2 main battle tanks, AMPV tracked armored vehicles, various firearms, and more. He contemplated creating his own Transformer to guard him while he absorbed solar energy.

Although he possessed a body that could withstand even nuclear explosions, he preferred not to be interrupted while focusing on absorbing energy.

For instance, the current situation, being surrounded and trapped, was not to his liking.

But as he looked at these primitive beings before him, he furrowed his brow. Converting them into Transformers would be a waste of energy.

"Friend, Earth welcomes friendly extraterrestrial visitors, and the will of humanity is not afraid of war," General Adolf warned, half-threateningly, seeing that H'el had no intention of communicating.

Earth was not unfamiliar with the arrival of extraterrestrials.

In 1934, Megatron's crash site had been discovered, and he was cryogenically transported to Sector 7 beneath the Hoover Dam.

In 1961, human deep space probes detected a crashed alien spacecraft on the far side of the Moon. This led to the launch of the Apollo program, which sent astronauts to investigate the crash site. Inside the spacecraft, numerous deceased Transformers were discovered.

However, this individual before them was a flesh-and-blood being, different from the previous discoveries, which left them uncertain and hesitant to open fire immediately.

If they did engage in combat, the 120mm 44-caliber M256 smoothbore gun would reduce every flesh-and-blood being to pieces.

"Alien, let's not escalate our relations. You share our flesh and blood. We don't want our firepower directed at you," General Adolf warned with dangerous undertones in his words, narrowing his eyes.

The soldiers around him, following the general's tone, exuded a menacing atmosphere. Their palms slightly moist, fingertips on the triggers, aiming at H'el.

*Buzz.*

H'el controlled the AllSpark, pressing it against the black battle suit on his chest.

If he decided to create a Transformer to protect him while he absorbed energy, then his battle suit was the best choice.
