"Your Majesty, what if you were to defeat Earth's gods and the cosmic beings?"
"·······"
H'el glanced at Kalu speechlessly.
What made this fellow think he was invincible? H'el himself didn't dare to consider himself as such.
In the DC Universe, those godly beings in the sphere of the gods were difficult to predict. Although they were too distant to observe, they could always create avatars or projections to wander the multiverse unpredictably.
For example, mischievous Fifth Dimensional imps, purely seeking amusement, were sure to cause trouble if encountered.
The infamous Darkseid, the Lord of Apokolips, was already confirmed to exist in this universe. Although H'el didn't understand why it was Steppwolf invading Earth instead of Darkseid earlier, he still wasn't sure of Darkseid's power and would need to fight him eventually.
Earth's Gods, the Olympian pantheon's chief God, Zeus, were also confirmed to exist. Even though H'el had awakened the ability to teleport instantly and could use the string vision to observe the basic spatial structures of the universe, he couldn't locate Olympus. This implied that these ageless gods indeed possessed unpredictable powers.
There were also the cosmic guardians of Oa, various Lantern Corps, and the Black Lantern, who was sealed within Oa. All of them were to be treated with caution.
If he felt invincible and started wreaking havoc on Earth, bizarre creatures or entities would immediately intervene.
H'el might be arrogant, but he could clearly see his own position. His arrogance was only an attitude toward other beings, not his actions.
Clearly, Kalu had tremendous confidence in the power of his monarch, especially after defeating Captain Atom, which he was ultimately certain that H'el could easily suppress with one hand.
Kalu found it hard to fathom how his monarch, who already possessed the power to effortlessly destroy Earth, could be so easily controlled. He questioned, "Can those so-called gods and cosmic beings really be more powerful than Your Majesty?"
Kalu had his doubts. However, H'el's caution, arrogance, and calculated decisions resonated with him.
A great monarch should exhibit these qualities: the arrogance of a sovereign, extraordinary strategic wisdom, and prudent decisions that protected the well-being of their subjects.
Facing Earth, while Kalu was skeptical about whether it possessed forces comparable to his monarch's, he still agreed with the decisions H'el had made.
The construction of New Krypton should indeed not be rushed. The number of Kryptonians was already dwindling, and any loss was a significant setback and waste.
Probing Earth's true power is the responsible approach to take care of one's own nation.
The hidden power within Earth piqued Kalu's curiosity.
In reality, without a fight, one couldn't truly understand where Kryptonians should stand. And H'el was in the process of drawing them out, setting up a thorough battle to confirm his strength and position.
Regardless of Kalu's enthusiastic mindset, H'el continued to follow his own path, making preparations.
H'el would never let arrogance push him to the brink of death; he always left room for an escape route. Even if the cosmic entities were too powerful and could defeat him or the Earth harbored gods too mighty to contend with, he would not succumb to death and failure. He always had a hidden move for a comeback.
"That continental landmass on Earth doesn't amount to much."
H'el descended from his command steel seat, hovering in mid-air, and began to move forward. "Follow me, Kalu, it's time for you to understand just how dazzling and boundless my future journey truly is.
Just as the emblem of New Krypton on your chest signifies—infinity."
Kalu, with a mixture of shock and doubt, followed H'el as they traversed the corridors of the mothership, passing through areas he had never visited before, until they finally reached a vast hangar.
Here, Colonel Van-Zee, standing tall and leading 50,000 Kryptonian soldiers and 3,000 administrative personnel, stood in orderly formation.
Van-Zee, who had once followed H'el and led the Rebel Army, harbored ambitions that refused to be suppressed. His exceptional performance during training had earned him the rank of colonel.
Three General-class cruisers, along with thirty thousand assorted destroyers, frigates, and reconnaissance ships, were fully prepared here.
"Your Majesty, what is this...?" After everyone had paid their respects to the monarch and rose at H'el's command, Kalu couldn't help but voice his question.
"They are going to conquer another universe's Earth."
As H'el stepped forward with a solemn expression, his imposing voice resonated, "I will open a portal and send you to a new universe, a foreign Earth.
Conquer it!
Execute my strategy!
Let another universe be adorned with the banner of New Krypton ∞.
Make it my logistical base!
You have only one year! Can you do it?"
"We pledge to complete the mission to the death!" Colonel Van-Zee led fifty thousand Kryptonian soldiers, roaring in unison to complete the task.
H'el's consciousness sank into the realm of thought, sensing the existence of the transdimensional vortex.
These transdimensional vortices were now capable of adjusting different time frames, with a range that could spread up to ten kilometers in diameter. Their existence duration could reach around half an hour.
This marked the beginning of H'el's journey to conquer countless realms, enabling him to stand undefeated and establish his rearward logistics base.
"Open a gate to an Earth they can easily conquer."
H'el silently murmured to himself and raised his hand to his side. Instantly, a transdimensional vortex larger than two kilometers in size formed.
The time difference was roughly one year on the opposite side, about a week in the DC Universe.
This amount of time was ample for H'el to handle any crises in the DC Universe, whether he soared through it triumphantly or was defeated by cosmic entities. He had enough time and contingency plans to ensure his resurgence.
H'el never ventured into anything without a backup plan or a reasonable degree of certainty.
"Advance! Forge a New Krypton for His Majesty!" Colonel Van-Zee shouted, leading the fifty thousand Kryptonian soldiers, who responded without hesitation, "Conquer the new world!"
They charged headlong into the transdimensional vortex.
The three General-class cruisers and thirty thousand assorted warships, after saluting H'el one final time, also surged into the vortex.
Kalu watched with an itching heart and couldn't help volunteering, "Your Majesty, I only need half a year, no, three months, two months, to conquer another planet!"
The temptation of conquering an entire planet was irresistible to anyone. Kalu's ambition to conquer was already ablaze.
H'el paid no heed, as he sent fifty thousand soldiers and three General-class cruisers, along with thirty thousand warships, into the transdimensional vortex. He closed the vortex, extinguishing Kalu's burning ambition for conquest.
"It's not the right time yet, Kalu. These fifty thousand soldiers, three General-class cruisers, and thirty thousand warships are your contingency plan. Your battlefield is still on this Earth."
