Ch 6 : What he said
The Minions opened the door, it was not locked and started walking downstairs to the main hall where they were summoned.
Only to get Traumatized by what's in there
Katashi followed them downstairs and saw a blood covered room. Corpses everywhere, some gangster's throats were ripped apart , some faces were deformed.
The Minions who brought Katashi stood there in horror. Katashi saw Luigi's body laying on the table in centre of the room.
"N...No way..." Said one minion
Katashi untied the rope tied to his hand and karate chopped both the memebers' necks which sent them blacked out.
Suddenly Luigi body rolled down from the table
Katashi looked there and saw a leg pushing the body away from table.
"Hisashiburida na, Kurayama", said an eerie voice . 'the devil', Katashi know it . He was sitting in Luigi's throne.
Katashi noticed devil wearing the sweatshirt which he saw the man who approached Father Godson was wearing .
"You? Why are you here" asked Katashi in a low tone
Devil took a knife "me?" and threw it just a bit away from his head. But Katashi showed no reflex by the knife passing aside his face. The knife flew and directly hit on right chest of Katashi's picture which was stuck on the wall along with devil's picture.
"Oooh , I aimed for the heart" whispered devil to himself
"Mario have set bounty for our heads" said the Devil.
"Mario? You mean Luigi, huh" said Katashi.
"Yeah, now, Katashi Kurayama is it? I finally learnt your name. You are the only one who is interrupting my business , every -single - time. And now you started to track me down again!! Why?!?" Asked Devil.
"I made a mistake in search of you. To absolve my sins ,to make amends, you should be sent back to cage... If not killed by me" answered Katashi
"Well... You were in the church right? Go do some confession " said Devil going upstairs leaving the hall.
Katashi remained silent for a moment. Devil went near the door.
"MIRAN " said Katashi with a loud dominating tone.
Devil turned back and saw Katashi holding his Makarov aiming at him. The ironsight was clearly for the head through Katashi's vision. Katashi didn't show a slightest moment of swaying or shaking away from his Target.
"So, you remember my name" said devil smiling , "why don't we have a deal?"
Katashi didn't reply instead he still didn't take away his aim from devil's head.
Meanwhile in the church , Makoto recovered completely. Yukio brought a delivery bike from the nearby pizza shop took Makoto on it and started to go into the city in search of Katashi.
"Hey how did you get this bike, isn't this the Pizza King delivery bike?" Asked Makoto
"It's my friend's.. I used to work there" replied Yukio
The engine roared with 90km/h. It also had a clanky sound inside the motorcycle
"Umm... I don't think this bikes safe.. it's making weird sounds and ... You are freaking going on 90 on the city roads of Nagoya!! " said Makoto
"Nah.. this bike's totally safe , - I guess. And by the way, I'm used to go at this speed" replied Yukio as he raised the accelerator even more.
After half an hour , Makoto and Yukio finally found out the place where Katashi is (ie. Luigi's hideout)
When they went there , they saw smoke coming out from the door.
They parked the bike in a hurry and rushed in covering their nose.. when they were going in they saw a faint figure sitting in the chair and a giant body laying on the floor.
The faint figure soon recognised to be Katashi and the giant body was ofcourse Luigi's.
He was holding the Makarov
"Oh man.. you chose genocide.. you a killa ,For real" said Yukio seeing Katashi.
"I didn't.. it was him " said Katashi in a faint low voice.
Makoto looked at the room directly to the left side of the chair. Most of the interior was burning. He was only able to see few parts of the room as others were covered in fire and smoke. Soon he also noticed a hand hanging out from a burning table inside the room. He couldn't see who he was , only the hand was visible. It seemed to wear a dark green coloured sweatshirt. It was the one the devil was wearing.
"Who is that ? What happened here , sir?" Asked Makoto
"He's the one for whom we started this case for" replied Katashi
"You mean... He's..." Stammered Makoto
"The Devil?" Asked Yukio terrified.
Katashi nodded once and stood up and started walking towards the stairs.
"Does this mean this case's over?" Asked Makoto
"Over? (Smirks) it's just the dawn" said Katashi walking through the smoky unclear staircase.

Yukio jumped onto the chair, "I look like a king , don't I?" He asked
"You look like a goblin" said Makoto
"Huh.. that's rude. This chair fits me perfectly, you know" replied Yukio
"Makoto!!" Called Katashi from outside
Makoto and Yukio went to him.
"You came in this bike right ?? (Both nodded) well, go by this and bring my car from the church.. we have loads to carry.. here , my keys"
Yukio grabbed the keys and sat on the motorbike patting on the backseat "here , Makoto , I won't bite you"
Makoto stared at Yukio with a confused face thinking "ah shit here we go again"
"The bike ?? Again??" Asked Makoto.
"Ofcourse man .. what else" said Yukio
They both stared each other for like a minute .
"I'll drive " Makoto said.
Yukio jumped back and let Makoto drive
Makoto was going on 40 in the city roads.
"Excuse me Gramps.. can't you go any slower?" Said annoyed Yukio sarcastically.
"How dare you call me Gramps " yelled Makoto
"C'mon there isn't much traffic in Nagoya at this time " said Yukio
"And by the way.."
Makoto leaned forwards sideways and took the key from Makoto short pocket ,started to detach the keychain from the key.
This stumbled the vehicle
"Woah woah what the... What are you doing idiot?!?" Asked Makoto
Having the keychain in hand, Yukio asked "who's this lady in this keychain?"
"That's detective Katashi's wife, Heidi.. Heidi Kurayama" replied Makoto trying to balance the bike
"Is she dead?!?" Questioned Yukio
"No.. probably not.. even though I haven't seen her once in person or in any other occasions. Sometimes Detective shares a talk with me whenever he met Heidi-san. But everytime she leaves.. I never get to see her" said Makoto
" She don't look Japanese" said Yukio
"Yeah she isn't... the Makarov which detective has, it has a name , 'Herbert' . It was his father-in-law's name that is Heidi-san's father" explains Makoto
Katashi went inside the hideout again, looked at his Makarov and kept it in its gun pouch. He took out his pistol and shot a gangster who was crawling towards him.
Katashi kept his pistol back in pouch.
"Wuaaahh.. we finally reached the church, man.. it took like 30 mins going there but happened to 2 hours coming back here with the same bike" mumbled Yukio
"There is his car"-Makoto
"You know what ?? I let you drive the motorcycle from the hideout right ? Sooo" dragged Yukio
Makoto hesitated at first but then realised they are just wasting even more time in the argument and gave the keys to Yukio
"You can drive.. but slowly"
"Aight baby, it's gonna be LIT" said Yukio sitting in the driver seat and said "I suggest you wear those seatbelt and hold on to something real tight"
"Now... Beat it" says Yukio while playing the song "beat it" by his favourite artist MJ
♪They told him "Don't you ever come around here, Don't wanna see your face you better disappear♪
Yukio was singing the lyrics along
♪The fire's in their eyes and their words are really clear♪
"So Beat it , just Beat it" sang Yukio hitting the gas. The car flew like falcon.
Katashi noticed Luigi move a bit. Katashi pull him up by his collar.
"He did this alone ?" Asked Katashi
♪You better run , you better do what you can♪
Luigi replied " 'do you really think you made me come here?' he asked me smiling , just before he caused hell here. I held my knife I kept at his throat steady but I don't no how"
♪ Don't wanna see no blood, Don't be a macho man♪
( Luigi's smile froze as he heard those words from the Devil )
♪ You wanna be tough , better do what you can ♪
"Just BEAT ITTT" sings out loud Yukio raising the speed through traffic
♪beat it♪ Makoto looked Haunted, he thaught he would be better off be killed by the 'men of prey'
♪BEAT ITTT♪
"the devil was massacring my fellows in this hall" said Luigi
♪beat it ♪
"Blood... Blood everywhere" he continued
♪no one wants to be defeated, Showin' how funky and strong is your fight♪
"My vision was unclear , my eyelids were heavy.. I saw him come to me, he said something... Uhh... He said....(thinks)"
♪It doesn't matter who's wrong or right♪
The music player in the car suddenly stopped
"Wwhhatt the...." Said Yukio annoyed
Sighed Makoto saying "can you atleast attempt to try not to kill me for like one second?"
"Oh damn what's the matter with this car " Yukio started to feel irritated driving slowly without the music
"Namu Amida Butsu , Namu Amida Butsu Namu Amida Butsu...." Chanted Makoto praying the music player shouldn't work.
The traffic light was glowing red.

"What did he say?" Asked Katashi
"Let me think.." said Luigi
.
.
Yukio felt annoyed and raged at the music player. He punch it with all the strength he got.
"Get (punch) to (punch) work (punch) , useless(punch) piece (punch) of (punch).."
"SHIT (punch)" yelled Yukio. His voice reached other vehicles which were stopped nearby waiting for the green to go
Everyone on the road was looking at the car jumping by Yukio's punches
Makoto lowered his sitting position trying to hide below the side window of the car
The traffic light goes green

"Yes! He said that.. we all are being watched"
Yukio gave one last punch and music player worked

Katashi paused for a moment
♪just beat it (beat it)♪
"Do you have a trash bag ?" Asked Katashi, Luigi nodded
♪just beat it (beat it)♪
Yukio was excited and was going at the maximum speed
♪ just best it (beat it)♪
Katashi punched Luigi's face sending him unconscious again.
