The beginning of another scenario

"Crap crap!" 'How do I stop the bleeding. I quickly held his ears. 'How is there so much blood?!'

'I don't have a healing skill like Maria I only have bloody shields. "Carl wake up!" No response. 'He may die at this rate.'

Then. "You always tried to protect me." Athanos was sleep talking. 'Wait. Protect?' Then it snapped. 'Let's hope this works!'

"Hey you awake?" I said. "Yeah.." Athanos answered.

"That's great wake up Carl for me." As I said that I fainted. "Carl Wake up already!"

He woke up. "What's going on?" He asked. "I don't know he just fainted as I woke up." Athanos said. "Oh, he just needs rest." Carl said in a calm manner.

"What?" He was shocked. "Remember when we talked about our abilities." Carl asked. "Yeah. He fainted due to lack of mana?" Athanos pieced it together. "Yep, now we have to wait."

(I think I understand) 'Wow there's no screaming.' "Yawn." I finally woke up. "You're finally up." Athanos said.

"Yeah are you guys ready to continue?" I asked. "Yes, we simply decided to take a break." He said. "Yeah it's really nice to just sit down and do nothing." Carl said.

We continued walking. "Anyway how did you save me?" Athanos asked. "Oh I tried to change the shape of mana shield." Both looked surprised. "You can do that? Shouldn't that be, like illegal?" Athanos got worried. "It's called mana shield."

'Oh.' "That's probably why mana shield was temporarily sealed. It's probably planning a change to the skill."

"It's sealed?" Carl looked shocked. "It's sealed?!" He said again."Yes temporarily and I still have counter shield." At my words he calmed down.

'oh already?' Swosh! A sword got aimed directly at my throat. "Who are you?" A man about the same age as me, appeared and was holding a sword to my throat. 'From his appearance and the fact that he had a sword, he's probably in a group.

If he wasn't, he wouldn't have a sword. 'Let's try this.[1% charged] 0.0001% on'

both Carl and Athanos flinched. "I was interested in joining the game junkies."

"Oh? How nice what's your skills?" "Reflective surface. If I touch a surface and activate my skill, it can reflect damage." 'I hope this works.' Both Carl and Athanos didn't say a word.

"And you two." He pointed at Athanos and Carl. "Quick strike the first attack I do deals more damage." He looked at Carl. "Scout, I can scan an area of 75 meters with mana." The man seemed pleased. "Come in."

'The plan succeeded.' We entered, It looked almost normal. Except the green lights on the ground with numbers, and the fact that the stairs were blocked.

"Why are people fighting over the green spots?" Athanos asked. "They are basically the safe area for the night. Every night monsters come and attack." He explained.

"Now follow me closely, otherwise you'll get into trouble." We followed him up the stairs and. 'Almost only girls or women.' "Continue following me." We walked a little and then the man opened a door. "Good luck."

The door closed.

'I haven't seen Maria.' "Hey! Why are you vermin here!" A big guy with too many tattoos was sitting on a sofa with three women.

"We wanted to join the game junkies, and were brought here." "Hehe that little bastard. Your skills?" We quickly lied about our skills. "Oh cool. So why did you want to join?" he asked enthusiastically.

"The strong pray on the weak right?" I answered immediately. "Hahaha! Great! you guys are in temporarily, until further notice." As we left I scanned both rooms.

'There! She's at the top.' I found Maria. Some time later we were relaxing. We also ate some snacks. 'Wow chocolate bars hit different, when the world is ending.' "How did you do that?" Carl asked with Athanos behind him.

"Hmm?" "Do you simply have godly control over your abilities?" "yes?" "That's bloody crazy, how did you put counter shield right against our eyes, without touching them." Now Athanos was asking questions.

'I just answered though?' "I lowered the power a lot." "Haha... what did I expect. Anyway do you have a plan yet?" Carl asked. "Not really. Maybe use the night when monsters come?"
