She sighed dramatically. "What if you stay there, permanently?"
"I don't know Nikki. I wish I could give you answers."
She smiled a little. "Maybe I could convince Mike to do a pack change."
I laughed at her. "You shouldn't leave your pack because of me Nikki. You'll still see me or talk to me all the time. You'll be able to visit whenever you want. A pack change is a big deal."
She nodded. "And eventually you will be in a different one. When you change, we won't be together."
I nervously tore pieces off my napkin. "You mean if I make the change."
She smirked. "There's no if Emily. If I made it, you can too. You've gotten through dealing with the crankiest baby daddy I have ever seen. You can make the change."
