But when we walked through the door, I forgot everything I had been afraid of. The little Italian restaurant was amazing. It made me feel all warm and fuzzy. The glow of candles on the tables and the dim lighting made the place great. I hadn't been somewhere like this.
"This is one of my favorite places to eat."

He nodded and hailed a server. They did some gesturing between themselves and then we were taken to a table. I halfway expected a crazy amount of romanticism and a reserved table in the back, away from prying eyes...but no. We were seated in a booth surrounded by other people. The high back booths offered some amount of privacy, but it didn't take away from the intimacy. I was relived when a younger man came to take our order. I didn't want to have to deal with some girl fawning over Mikko while we were on, what would probably be, our first real date.
