Begging

Miao was smiling while looking at her photos with Xander on her phone, but Mei Lin suddenly approached her.

"So early in the morning and you're the first person I saw, my day is already ruined now." she said then flipped her hair.

She raised an eyebrow, she ignored her and looked at her phone again.

Mei Lin became even more annoyed, she snatched her phone and grinned.

"Hey! Give it back to me!" she shouted.

"I'm sorry but you can't dictate me, now let see if you can still smile after I do this." Mei Lin quickly deleted all the photos on her phone.

"What the hell are you doing!" Miao snatched her phone. Her eyes widened when she saw that her gallery was empty. "What the!" she glared at her with full of anger. "Bitch! You will pay for this!" she quickly pulled Mei Lin's hair.

"O-Ouch! Let go of me!" Mei Lin screamed as she tried to grab her hair as well.

"You really make me mad, bitch! Do you think I will let you go this time huh!!!!" she yelled.

The two are fighting again and all the students saw them.

"Waahh twinnie!!" Rael and the others run when they saw them fighting.

They are trying to stop them.

"I will kill you!" Miao yelled at her again.

She was really mad. Those photos are very important to her. 

"What is the meaning of this?" That was Gyu's voice.

The students made a way for him, Miao and Mei also stopped.

"Huhuhu sir!" Mei ran to him. "she did it first, she suddenly pulled me huhuhu." she cried while holding his arm.

Jin raised an eyebrow.

Gyu looked at Mei then shifted his look to Miao. "Did the guidance counselor warned you already? Do you guys really want to be suspended?" Gyu said with his serious face.

"Huhuhu sorry sir, it's Miao's fault huhu." Mei acted again as if she was the victim.

"Can you stop acting? You're ugly when you do that!" Miao said.

So annoying!

"Enough!" said Gyu.

Everyone turned silent.

"I will forgive you today but next time that you repeat this, I will be the one to take you to the prefect of discipline." Gyu said.

"Sorry sir." Miao and Mei said at the same time, they even glared at each other.

Gyu glanced at Jinji first before he left.

Jinji lowered her head, is he mad at her too?

"That woman is really annoying! I want to twist her and crash her into pieces!" Miao said while they were at the courtyard. "If only Prof. Gyu didn't came I will really push her to the ground!!"

"Just relax, they already gave you a warning, sir said that he will take you to the prefect once you fight with her again." Rael said.

"Psh..but what the hell is Mei Lin's problem? She always pick a fight with me since elementary!" she said and sat beside them.

"Miao, there is nothing we can do, the best thing is to avoid Mei." said Jin.

"Why should I avoid her? She's the one who always pick with me." she said.

"But you are more sensible." Jin added.

"She has a point." Rael agreed.

Sighed. "I hate this day! And Xan has not called me yet." she said.

She looked at her phone, not even a single text from him.

"Miss Xiao.."

They both looked to the man who approached them, he's wearing a suit. 

"Mr. Hans?" she stood up.

Why is he here? Did Vlad sent him? 

"Good morning Miss Xiao." he greeted.

"W-What are you doing here?" she asked.

"Mr. Gu wants to invite you for lunch, he ordered me to pick you up." he answered.

Miao and her friends looked at each other.

"Hmm..it looks like Mr. Gu is inviting you for a date." an evil grin flashed on Rael's lips.

"Sshh, lower your voice." Miao scolded her.

She looked at Mr. Hans again. "Uhm, is it now?"

He nodded.

"Go ahead twinnie, Mr. Gu hates waiting." Rael added. 

She's really on his side. 

"She's right. Go ahead, Miao" Jinji agreed.

They are really pushing her to see Mr. Gu.

"Okay fine, see you later guys." she said.

"Bye bye twinnie!" Rael waved at her.

She followed Mr. Hans and get in the car.

Vlad is busy reading his magazine when the door of the VIP room opened.

"Sir, Miss Xiao is already here." said Mr. Hans. Miao is behind him.

He nodded at him.

Mr. Hans left them.

"Have a seat." he offered.

"What do you want?" Miao asked while standing still.

He stared at her.

Gulped.

She avoided his gaze when she meet his cold eyes.

"Have a seat." this time he's more serious. 

Miao sat down like a gentle puppy, why this guy is so scary?

"Let's eat." he said.

She have no choice but to follow him, they started eating.

So quiet... 

She glanced at him as he sips, he looks calm now. 

She took her juice. 

"By the way I have some ----" Vlad words was interrupted when her phone suddenly rings.

"Xander is calling, please excuse me." she quickly stood up to answer the call.

Vlad felt annoyed, what he didn't like the most is being interrupted while he's talking. To

his annoyance he broke the fork he was holding.

He took the glass of wine, he poured again and continued drinking.

"Hehe I know baby, go ahead auntie is probably looking for you. I miss you." said Miao.

When their conversation ended, she quickly returned to the room. She saw Vlad drinking his wine.

"Sorry for the interruption, you said earlier that you have something to tell me?" she asked.

Vlad glared at her, and promised, his stares are scary…

"I just want to remind you that our wedding is coming soon so you have to choose whether you will tell him about our relationship or I will be the one to tell him?" he said in a serious tone.

"What? Didn't I tell you that I will not going to marry you? Your family only planned this because of XMM, but it doesn't matter to me anymore, you can get XMM if you want" she said.

"Really? You don't need XMM? As far as I know, XMM is very important to your dad." he said.

"I know but dad will understand me so please let's cancel our marriage. We are not meant for each other" she stood up and left him.

Vlad was so angry that he threw the glass on the wall, it made a loud noise so Mr. Hans quickly entered the room.

"Sir are you all right?" he asked.

"Listen to me Mr. Hans, don't let Miss Xiao to enter my company again. Stop the process of the contract between XMM and Gu Empire. Tell Mr. Xiao that they can't enter XMM without my permission, understand?" he ordered. His eyes were burning with rage. 

"Y-Yes sir." Mr. Hans hurriedly get out of the room.

Tsss… Xiao Miao Miao you really want to challenge me… You will regret this.

The next day…

"What? We are banned from our own company?" Miao was surprised by what her dad announced.

"Yeah, I called at their office few times but his secretary said Mr. Gu was busy." said her dad.

"How did that happen? XMM is ours right? He has no right to ban us." she said.

"Miao have you forgotten? XMM was already owned by Gu Empire, we just have an agreement that XMM will be ours again if you will marry Vladimir Gu." Her mom said.

Miao sat down… did she really make Vlad mad?

Is this his revenge for her refusal to marry him?

Miao saw the sadness on her dad's face. Her dad loves XMM very much.

She felt guilty, she told Vlad that she doesn't care about XMM, it was her fault.

"I'm wondering what happened?" said his dad.

"Dad don't worry I'll talk to Vlad..m-maybe because he's fixing some problems related to XMM so he didn't let us visit them." she said.

Her dad nodded sadly.

She went out and got in her car, she needs to talk to Vlad.

Vlad stopped reading the documents when Mr. Hans came. "What is it?"

He's busy and don't want to be disturb. 

"Miss Xiao is outside, she wants to talk to you." he said.

"Tell her to leave, I don't want to see her." he said then continued reading the documents. 

Mr. Hans nodded and went outside.

But later on, he came back. "She is really insisting it Sir, she is already making a scene outside."

Vlad put down the folder then looked at Mr. Hans.

"Please! Let me talk to him, I have something important to tell him!" Miao was annoyed, she already begged them to let her see Vlad but they are not letting her in, in his office.

"We're very sorry mam but we're just following his orders." said the secretary.

"What the hell is his problem? What does he want me to do to make him face me? Call him! I will not leave until I talk to him!" she insisted.

"I'm really sorry mam." said the secretary. "Guard!"

The guard approached them.

"Don't touch me! Don't you dare to touch me or else I will break your arm!" she threatened the guard. "I want to see Vlad! I won't stop until he face me!"

People are already looking watching them.

"What's going on here?"

Miao halted whe she heard Vlad's voice, she immediately turned around.

"Mr. Gu!" she approached him.

Vald stared at her.

"Can we talk?" she asked. 

"Is there anything else we should talk about?" he said expressionless. 

"Listen, I know I was wrong, what I did last time really made you mad but please let us fix this. XMM is important to dad, if you are

mad at me you should put your anger on me not on my family." she said.

"You're the one who told me that XMM is not that important."

"I know and I admit my mistakes. I'm sorry okay?"

"Sorry? Do you think you can get XMM again just because of your sorry?"

Miao bit her lower lip, she knew Vlad is cold hearted so it was impossible for him to accept her sorry. "Fine, what do you

want me to do just to accept my apology and return XMM to my dad?"

"Are you sure with that?" he scoffed. 

She nodded. "I will do everything."

"Then go outside and kneel until I tell you to stand up, you will not also leave unless I tell you." then Vlad turned his back on her.

Miao was hurt by what he said.

Will she kneel outside the Gu Empire? What about the reputation of their family? And her dignity?

She doesn't have a choice, she sadly left the building then knelt in front of it.

"Honey what do you think of this?" Jinji asked as she showed the baby dress to Gyu.

"Why are you asking me about that stuff? Are you pregnant?" Gyu asked.

His face turned serious when he saw the dress.

"I-I'm not… I just found it cute. I just thought about when we will have a baby----- "

Gyu immediately cut her off. "We had already talked about that matter, right? as long as we are not married, no baby."

"I know I just want to…" she sighed. "Forget it."

Gyu just shook his head and then looked at his phone.

Jin looked at the baby dresses. She was upset. 

"Gyu?"

They turned around and saw Miss Ye.

"Miss Ye you're here too?" Gyu's mood suddenly changed when he saw her.

"Yeah, I already finished my work so I thought of strolling here for a while." said Miss Ye, she looked at Jinji. "Are you with her?" she asked.

Jinji quickly looked at Gyu.

"No, we just met by accident. She asked me for suggestions on what clothes she would buy so I joined her for a while" Gyu denied.

She felt even more sad. 

"Is that so, can you also join me to watch a movie? I saw that the movie today looks good" Miss Ye offered.

"Sure." Gyu looked at her. "I'm sorry Miss Li but we have to leave you now."

"S-Sure." she said.

The two smiled and left, Jin wants to cry but she's holding back her tears, she can't cry in this place. 

To see Gyu happy with other woman is the most painful feeling at all.

She can't believe that he left her just to be with Miss Ye. 

Her tears started to fall so she quickly wiped them.

Hyun was busy choosing his clothes when he noticed a woman crying at the corner. He was

curious, why she was crying? 

"Hyun let's go!" his cousin called him.

"Okay." before he left he glanced again at the woman but she was already gone.

All employees were watching Miao.

"I pity her."

"I wonder what she did to made Mr. Gu mad and let her kneel outside the building?"

"It's embarrassing, if it was me I would have cried."

"She's pathetic."

Some felt sorry for her and some laughed at her.

She gently stroked her legs, it was already numb and her knees were already hurt.

She looked up, the sky is dark.

Suddenly, a heavy rain fell.

She is soaking in wet…

"You can do it Miao…" she whispered to herself.

"That's all for today, thank you." Vlad said.

The board members have left.

Vlad was reading the proposal when Mr. Hans came.

"Sir, it's already raining. Miss Xiao is still outside and kneeling." he said.

He was surprised, he thought she would not do what he said.

"Is she still there?" he asked.

Mr. Hans nodded.

Tsk. That woman, she's really stubborn.

He stood up. "Get me an umbrella." then he walked out.

Miao shivers from the extreme cold, how long will she kneel here? She looked at the entrance of the building, she saw two men coming out. It's Mr. Hans and Vlad. They are walking towards her.

She looked up at them.

"Stupid." Vlad said.

She remained silent… she could no longer speak because of the extreme cold.

He saw her shaking. He sighed. 

"If you really want to get XMM back then marry me." he said.

She shook her head.

Vlad felt even more annoyed.

"Do you really love that guy?" he asked.

She nodded slowly.

Tss… Will she do everything just to stop their marriage? Does this woman really love his cousin?

"P-Please…" Miao muttered weakly.

"Sir, Miss Xiao is trembling, her family will blame you if something bad happens to her." Mr. Hans whispered at him.

"Fine." Vlad stared at her.

His eyes were very cold.

"XMM is yours again, I will cancel our marriage..and promise me that you will never show your face to me again." After he said that, he left.

Miao heaved a sigh of relief. 

"Twinnie!!!" she could see Rael running towards her.

Mr. Hans called her to help Miao get home.

"Huhu, are you all right?" she helped her to stand.

Her legs was shaking, she can't walk properly. Rael helped her to get inside the taxi.

Mr. Hans and the other employees heard the broken objects inside Vlad's office.

He is very mad now and no one can disturb him or else they will get fire.

Vlad sat down in his swivel chair, he opened the drawer on his table and picked up the small box.

He opened it and stared at the ring he had bought for Miao.

Even though he doesn't like Miao, he still considers her as his fiancée, he wants to fullfil the role as a good husband once they get married.

But look what she did?

She choose Xander over him?

His pride had been trampled on because of what she had done.

She wants to stop the marriage? Fine! No more wedding!

And he doesn't want to see that woman again!!!

He threw the ring.

"Achooo!!!" Miao wiped her nose with tissue.

She had fever because she stayed outside for hours while raining.

"Vlad is so mean he doesn't even feel sorry for you, even if you don't want to marry him he should have thought that you're weak." said Rael. "How come he let you kneeled outside his company?" 

"It's okay at least our marriage was already canceled and XMM is ours again." she said.

Rael sighed.

Miao's phone rang, Xander was calling. Her mood finally brightened up…

To be with Xander is her greatest dream…
