Jinji's Stepbrother
Jinji woke up with Gyu sleeping soundly next to her, her tears fell again as she remembered what happened last night. Gyu has really changed, he used to respect her and take care of her. But now… he no longer care for
her.
Her eyes were swollen.
She slowly got up, she had to leave before Gyu wakes up. She quickly put her clothes on and took her bag. She glanced at him.
"I-I'm sorry… b-but I can't take this anymore." she muttered then left the unit while crying.

Hyun sighed as he looked at the picture of his step sister. He parked his car on the side of the road, he's staring at the picture for hours, this woman is really familiar but he can't remember where he saw her.
He tried to think again…
"I remembered now!"
She's the woman he saw at the mall, crying. He couldn't believe that woman was his step sister, but why she's crying? Did something happened to her?
He stopped thinking when he noticed someone from the side mirror of his car, a woman walking on the side of the road. She does not seem all right.
"Is she crying?" he whispered.
He stared at her intently.
"God! It's her!" he quickly got out of his car.
He ran when he saw her fell on the ground.
"Jinji!" he called. He helped her to sit down. "What happened to you?"
Jinji looked at him weakly. "W-Who are you?"
"I'm your brother" he replied.
"I-I don't have a brother." she fainted after saying those words.
He quickly carried her up and ran into his car.

Miao and Vlad are sitting next to each other on the cough, Vlad is busy looking at his tablet while Miao is scrolling on her phone. Miao is upset, she misses her friends.
"What are you thinking?" Vlad asked without looking at her.
"Uhm, I'm just thinking of my friends, Rael must be very lonely coz im not with her, I can't contact Jin. I alsothink Zol and Xan----"she couldn't finish what she was saying when Vlad suddenly hugged her.
"Can you please stop thinking of other guys when you're with me?" he said.
Miao blushed, is he jealous again?
"O-Okay." she said.
"Look, I found a place where we can do our prenup." he said then showed the picture from his tablet.
He still hugging her.
"Wow, this place is beautiful." she said.
"We're about to get married in two days but we still didn't do our prenup, tomorrow morning we will go to this place then we will return to the Philippines in the evening." Vlad said.
"Aren't we running out of time?" she asked.
"I don't want to postpone our wedding again." he showed his poker face.
"Then I will tell this to Rael and others." she said.
Vlad stared at her.
"What?" she asked.
He smiled. "Are you really willing to marry me?"
Miao shuddered. "Why? You don't want it?"
"Pft. Of course I want it." Vlad tightened his hug on her. "Im so happy that you will be my Mrs. Gu. Promise, I will give everything to you, I will take care of you and I will protect you no matter what happens."
Aww, Vlad is so sweet.
"I love you freak." he whispered.
She smiled. "Will you believe if I say I love you more?"
Without saying a word Vlad immediately kissed her on her lips. She responded to his kiss, their kisses became passionate.
He slowly laid her down on the couch.

Jinji woke up that she was already in the hospital. She was surprised to see her mom.
"W-What am I doing here?" she asked.
"Jin my dear, your brother saw you on the road. You fainted, we're lucky that he was there that time." her mom explained. She looks so worried.
She looked at the young man with her.
"Brother?" she asked again.
"He is Hyun, your step brother." said her mom.
Jinji immediately rolled her eyes. "I have no brother."
Her mom felt sad.
"I understand you." Hyun said.
The nurse came and talked to her mom, they went out for a while.
Jinji and Hyun were left inside.
Hyun stared at his step sister, she's so beautiful, who dared to make her cry? It's the second time that he saw her crying.
Is she going through something?
"I noticed you were crying before you lost consciousness, did something happened to you?" he asked.
"Why should I tell you?" she said while looking out the window.
"I know you have a serious problem, you're also crying when I saw you at the mall." he said.
She immediately looked at him. "You saw me?"
He nodded.
She lowered her head then suddenly cry again.
"H-Hey why are you crying?" he panicked.
But she said nothing, she just keep crying.
Hyun sat beside her. "Tell me what really happened?"
She stares at him.
Can she trust him?
"Listen, I know that you don't want to accept me as your brother but let me help you in solving your problems." He insisted.

(Singapore)
All the staff are busy, it's Vlad and Miao's prenup shoot.
"Make it closer." said the photographer. "Hugged her."
The staff were all smiling as they watched them.
Miao is very lucky to have Vlad as her husband. She's excited about their wedding.
"Okay that's enough, thank you everyone" said Vlad.
Everyone applauded.
Tomorrow is their big day.

Gyu can't help it but to get mad at himself, he has no idea where Jinji go, he woke up without her next to him. He tried to call her but her phone was off, he also asked her friends but they also have no idea where she is.
She also not in school today.
"Tss. Where the hell is she!" he threw his phone on the bed.

Hyun listened to Jinji's story, he felt sorry for her sister. He did not expect this will happen to her. She begged him not to tell their mom what had happened.
After being discharged from the hospital, they asked her to stay at their mansion.
"I'm glad you can be with us again dear." her mom hugged her tightly.
She responded to her hug.
Hyun's dad is kind so she has nothing to worry about.
But she still can't erase Gyu in her mind, she was worried about him.

Vlad was at the airport when his phone rang.
"Yes?" he asked.
They stopped walking.
"WHAT?"
Miao was surprised when Vlad shouted.
"W-What happened?" she asked.
Vlad looked at her anxiously. "It's dad."

(PHILIPPINES)
They ran to the hospital where Vlad's dad was confined.
"Mom!" Vlad called.
His mom and sister are outside the room.
"Vlad!" his mom cried.
'What happened?" he asked.
"D-Dad had a heart attack, his condition is critical now." Saoirse cried.
Vlad was stunned, his dad was very strong when he left.
They heard a commotion in the room.
"W-What's going on?" their mom immediately peeked inside.
They saw that the nurses and doctors panicked.
"N-No, dad!" Vlad shouted.
He wanted to enter the room but the nurse stopped him.
He saw the line on the monitor, it became straight.
"NO!"

A few days later.
Miao patted Vlad's shoulder, they are still in the cemetery because Vlad did not want to leave. They were left standing in front of Mr. Gu's tomb.
Vlad can't stop himself from crying, he loves his dad so much. He was the reason why business is so important to him. He taught him how to be wise in his decisions.
He wants to show off his achievement to him, he wants him to be even more proud. But now that his dad is gone.
"Vlad, uncle will not be happy if he sees you like this." said Miao.
Vlad hugged her.
Because of what happened their marriage got postponed again, the important thing now is that Miao is always with Vlad to comfort him.

"Hays I wonder how my twinnie now?" Rael mumbled while walking in the quadrangle.
She heard what happened to Vlad's dad, her friend must be very sad.
She stopped walking when someone suddenly covered her eyes.
She smiled. "I know it's you."
Xander chuckled and removed his hands from covering her eyes.
She smiled and pinched his cheek.
The both laughed.
"By the way I bought two movie tickets let's have a date tomorrow evening." said
Xander.
The two developed feelings for each other and confessed at each other. They were now officially dating.
They don't know how will they inform Miao about their relationship, but maybe she will understand.
"By the way, I don't see Zol and Jin now?" Xander commented.
"Uhm I know Zol always met that woman he met from the mall. About Jin, I still can't contact her until now. Professor Gyu also looked for her the other day." she replied.
Xander scratched his head. "It's okay, it's only the two of us..we can do whatever we want." he then grinned.
"Hahaha want me to punch you?" she pinched his cheek again.
They continued walking while holding each other's hands.

Miao is in a restaurant, she's bored so she thought of going out. Vlad has returned to his
work so she's alone again.
"Here's your order mam." said the waitress.
"Thanks."
Miao was surprised when she recognized who the waitress was.
"M-Mei?"
Even Mei was surprised to she see her.

Mei sat in front of her, she asked what happened to her? Why is she working as a waitress?
Mei sadly told her what happened. She found out that their business got bankrupt and Vlad had something to do with it.
"I'm sorry I didn't know that Vlad was serious about what happened between us." she said.
Mei forced a smile. "It's okay, I am still grateful because of what he did, I learned the importance of life. I found out who are the people that really loyal to me and who are not. I also learned how to make money. I already regretted what I had done before. I'm sorry for always picking a fight with you Miao." said Mei.
She held her hand. "I have forgiven you for a long time Mei, don't worry I will talk to Vlad."
Mei was surprised. "R-Really?" she immediately stood up and bowed. "Thanks a lot."
"Eh? Please don't do that it's embarrassing." she said.
She asked Mei sit down again.
"Why don't you join me here? c'mon let's eat."
Mei smiled and then nodded.

Jinji is now walking outside the mall she saw Hyun waiting as he leaned out of his car. He immediately smiled when he saw her, he waved at her.
"Looks like you bought a lot." he said.
"It's been a long time since my last shopping" she replied.
"That's fine, where do you want to eat?" he asked.
"Can we go to my favorite place?" she said.
Hyun messed up her hair while chuckling. "I knew it, let's head there and order everything you want."
They both laughing when they got into the car.
Hyun acted like he's the elder one.
Hyun likes her but he doesn't know how will he confess his feelings for her.

Gyu is now walking at the exit of the mall, he bought his materials for his next class. He stopped walking when he noticed a familiar woman.
"Jin?" he muttered.
He could not be wrong. He saw her get in a car with a man.
"JIN!" he called her.
He tried to chase them but they already left.
Who is that man?!

After Mei and Miao talked, Mei said that she will return to her work.
Miao was eating her food when her phone suddenly rang, her eyes widened when she saw her best friend Badeth calling through video call.
"Bes!" she said excitedly.
(Bes- short term for bestfriend)
"Waahh I miss you bes!" Badeth said.
Badeth was her best friend since childhood, they live next door. They grew up together, they attended same school in elementary and high school, the Badeth, Xander and her were bestfriends. When they entered college, her family migrated to Singapore and they rarely talked since then. Then she met Rael and others.
"I haven't talked to you in a long time." she said.
"Huhu sorry bes I'm too busy because of school, besides you know I'm still moving on from my heart break." said Badeth.
"Eh? Until now you're still in love with your ex?"
"C'mon, you know he's the only one I love."
"I'm really curious about this guy, why it's hard for you to forget him?"
"Hehe because he is different from other men."
Miao has never seen her ex, she also doesn't want to show a picture of him. Badeth says she prefers to introduce this guy to her in person not in picture.
"If I'm that guy I'll come back to you, you're pretty, sweet, rich, everything is on you." she said.
"Aww I hope he thinks the same. When I heard that he was back here in Singapore I immediately went to his company but he kicked me out."
"What? He's so bad, who is that man and I will really fight him."
"He also said he loves someone else huhu."
"Psh. You gave me reason to hate him."
"But don't worry bes, because I will get him back, anyway, I will return to the Philippines."
"Really? Yey! we will be together again!"
"I'm excited bes! hehe see you soon!"
They continued their conversation. Miao is very happy that her best friend will finally return.

Zol happily put the food on the table.
"Wow it looks delicious." Saoirse commented while looking at the dishes Zol cooked.
When Zol met her again, he did not hesitate and asked for her contact number. Zol found out that Saoirse is a famous actress but this is not an obstacle for him to love her.
They go out secretly, after the shoot, Sao secretly goes to Zol's condo.
"You know I always craving for your dishes." said Sao.
"Really? Then I'll cook for you every time you visit here." said Zol then sat down next to her.
"Promise?"
"Of course I promise, let's eat."
They enjoyed eating and talking.

Miao is mixing her milk when someone hugged her from behind.
She was startled and immediately turned around.
"You surprised me." she said.
Vlad smiled. "Did I scare you?"
She wrapped her hand on his neck. "Are you done with your meetings?"
"The meeting ended early, I don't have any sched now so I went straight here. I miss my wife." he said with a mischievous smile.
"Pft. By the way, have you eaten yet? I will cook for you."
"I want YOU instead the food."
"Vlad!" she slapped his arm.
The man laughed.
"Just kidding, actually I'm hungry."
"Uhm, I'll cook for you but…"
"But?"
"You know I can only cook fried egg and fried hotdog, right?"
Vlad burst out laughing.
"I know, but that's my favorite food now."
Miao giggled, although she doesn't know how to cook Vlad still love her, she's really lucky to have him.

Hyun walked down the stairs.
"Where is Jin?" he asked the maid.
"She's resting at the pool, sir." the maid answered.
"All right thank you." he went out and looked for her.
He saw her sitting near the pool.
He smiled, he knew she's bored. Since Jin returned to their mansion she hasn't come back to school, she hasn't answered her friend's calls too.
When he got closer, he saw that she was asleep, he sat on the chair next to her and stared at her.
She's really beautiful, it's a pity that she became his step sister.
"I hope we can always be together… forever" he whispered.
He noticed that the sun was hitting on her face, he blocked the sunlight using his hand so that it would not hit her face.

(Fast forward)
It was their 3rd year anniversary for being friends, every year they celebrate it together. They thought of celebrating it in Rael's condo.
"Is Jin will come?" Rael asked while preparing the foods.
"What did she say?" Xander asked.
"I tried to call her but she's not answering, I texted her. I also chatted her in her Instagram and she seen it. I hope she will come because this is a special event for us." she said.
Xander messed up her hair. "Don't worry she will come, just trust her."
She smiled. "You're right, I know Jin loves us." she hugged him.
Xander kissed her forehead.
"Hey guys im here!!!" Miao was so energetic when she came. She went straight in.
And was surprised to see Rael and Xander hugging each other, the two were also surprised to see her.
"W-Why are you hugging each other?" Miao asked curiously.
"Uhm t-twinnie…" Rael looked at Xander.
"Miao we have something to tell you, please don't be mad." said Xander.
"And?" said Miao.
Xander held Rael's hand. "We were dating."
Miao covered her mouth. "W-What? How? Since when?"
"We're very sorry twinnie, I know Xander was your ex-boyfriend but I love him too." said Rael.
Miao stared at Xander. "Are you serious?"
"Miao I know you will be mad but I love Rael, don't worry I will not do to her what I did in the past." Xander explained.
But Miao is still serious.
"Twinnie…" said Rael.
"Xander, leave us first. Buy us more drinks outside, now." she ordered
Xander scratched his head then looked at Rael.
Rael nodded so he has no choice but to follow her.
When Xander left.....
"Kyaaaahhhh twinnie when did you two start dating? OMG! Im so happy for you!" said Miao while hugging Rael's arm.
"Eh? Aren't you mad?" Rael asked in surprised.
"Mad? Me? No! why will I get mad? I'm so happy for you because you finally found the right guy for you. You're lucky coz Xander is so sweet and caring." she said.
"Really? You will not go against to our relationship?" Rael asked again.
Miao held her hand.
"I support you, if it's for your happiness I will not stop you. And if Xander does something bad, report it to me and I will really hit him hard."
"Pft. Haha I love you twinnie!"
They hugged each other.
"Wow looks like everyone is happy today!" they turned around to see who's speaking.
"Jin!!!!"
They ran to her. Zol and Jinji arrived together.
"We missed you where did you go?" asked Rael.
Jinji smiled. "I'll tell you later, let's group hug first!"
"Yeeyyyy!!!" the four of them hugged each other.

Gyu has been drunk for several nights, Jinji still hasn't returned until now.
He looked at their picture on the side table.
"Where are you now?" he muttered then drink his beer again.
