" I thought, " he said, his voice quieter but no less sharp, " that you were wise enough to heed my warning. But now I see my trust in you was misplaced. "

 The weight of his word made Starfania look down at the floor in his shame as he uttered her full name. " Starfania. "

She refused to meet his gaze, because she couldn't handle the intensity of his piercing stare was more than she could bear. A storm of guilt and shame surged through Starfania, drowning out any words she might have had to explain herself.  Before she could fully grasp its meaning, a sharp snap of his fingers echoed through the throne room. As two guards stepped forward, their presence reminded her that she had no control over what was going to happen. Their presence carried an unexpected weight that left Starfania astonished and disbelieving as she glanced around the room. The tension in the air grew thicker when the guards stepped aside to reveal two figures whom she could never anticipate. Standing between them were Aeron, Violet, and Drogo. Starfania's heart was racing. The shock of their presence only made her worry for their safety. " So, " Cesar said, his voice slicing through the stillness, " these are your companions who have joined you in your disobedience. "

 His tone was low, dangerous, each word heavy with accusation. Aeron's jaw clenched tightly, his usual calm demeanor now tinged with defiance. Violet's wide eyes darted to Starfania, silently pleading for an explanation. Drogo was trying to free himself from his bind. He was preparing to defend his humans until his final breath. " You've brought them into this? " he said, his voice whipping with disappointment. " Oh, daughter, your recklessness knows no bounds. " 

" No, " Starfania began to protest, her voice shaking. " They— "

" Silence! " Cesar's voice thundered, cutting her off. " You will speak when I tell you, too. " 

 The guards moved even closer, while Drogo was now trying even harder to break from his chains. Violet was hiding close to Drogo because she knew he would protect her because of the bond they shared. Aeron stepped forward as if trying to shield Starfania, but a single glare from Cesar froze him in place. Her heart sank as guilt clawed at her. How did it come to this? Before Starfania could muster another word, the room began to shift. The walls seemed to ripple like water, and the faces of Aeron, Violet, and Drogo blurred and twisted, their expression melting into indistinguishable shapes.
