She was surprised the bitch hadn't been tortured to death yet.
Reluctantly, Coral picked up her cellular phone to make a call and had just put it to her ear when a surprised voice came through, "Heloise?"
"..."
Coral stiffened and turned her head to see Darnell, who had changed into a gray suit, standing nearby and was now staring at Heloise in disbelief, his eyes looking as if they had been hooked, completely unable to see that she was still here.
It was Darnell Smith.
Heloise thought she had come across another old acquaintance.
She indifferently looked at him as she stood there, her face wearing a mask of confusion.
Darnell came back to his senses, excitedly walking quickly to her and looking her up and down, "Heloise, where have you been for the last three years? Coral and I have been looking for you for a long time."
"Are you looking for me?"
Heloise was stunned.
Since childhood, Coral didn't want to be known as they were sisters, so they were in the same school but never in the same class.
Coral chased Darnell wildly in high school, which resulted in Darnell confessing to her.
As a result, Coral even pretended to be her best friend and pretended to help Darnell chase her, trying to take advantage of it as a way to make Darnell see the kind heart in her, only to have Coral get pissed off when Darnell didn't take the bait, then Coral sent her to suffer the disasters which would originally befall Coral.
"Exactly." Darnell somewhat excitedly grabbed her hand, "Why did you suddenly leave without saying a word three years ago? I went to the school to check your information, and I was told that you had been picked up by your family, and that, because of your family, all your information was hidden and could not be made public."
So, everything turned out.
The Brook's was letting her disappear from the world silently.
Coral stood aside, seeing Darnell staring at Heloise without a care in the world, blushing so badly that she wanted to pull the man out of the mall.
She held back and then held back, finally squeezing out a look of concern to look at Heloise, "Yeah, Heloise, where have you been all these years? Darnell and I have been looking for you for ages."
She was performing ... well done.
Heloise glanced at her with a cool gaze, then drew back her hand that was grasped by Darnell, "Sorry, but I think you have got me confused with someone else."
"How could we possibly mistake you for someone else?"
Darnell said eagerly.
A jerk!
Coral was furious, but she was still pretending and said, "Heloise, why don't we go sit in the coffee shop for a drink?"
"No need." Heloise refused, Coral took her arm and embraced her affectionately and intimately as sisters, "Come on, Heloise, let's talk together."
They walked into the café.
Coral sat Heloise down on a couch booth, and pushed Darnell to sit down across from her, and sent a message to her father –
[Coral: Dad, Heloise is still alive, hurry up and send someone over to the Friendship Mall. I'm on the 6th floor now to keep her calm and put her in control first].
After sending the message, Coral turned her eyes to see Darnell staring straight at Heloise, and his eyes were unable to hide the surprise, as if he had lost and found a priceless treasure.
Coral didn't imagine that Darnell still had Heloise in his heart after three years.
Coral forced a smile and fiercely approached him, hugging Darnell's arm, the plumpness in front of her chest intentionally pressed over, pretending to movingly say, "Darnell, it's so good that we finally found Heloise, isn't it?"
"..."
Darnell looked at Coral's hand wrapping around his own, and then to Heloise, and couldn't help but feel a little embarrassed at the thought of having a crush on Heloise before, "Well, Heloise, I'm dating Coral."
"Yeah."
When Heloise was sent to the slums, Coral hadn't caught Darnell's favor yet, but at this moment she started showing off before Heloise, and she leant to Darnell and just kissed him on the cheek, then looking over at Heloise with a grin, "Darnell chased after you before, but you disappeared without saying goodbye for so many years, you're not going to be mad at me, are you? "
