"And why did you come to the PHOENIXFELL Capital?" Coral pressed on.
"Is this your way of checking up on my family?"
Heloise looked at her unkindly.
"Ms. Spicy, I'm sorry, my girlfriend thought there was too much resemblance between you and our old friend, and I am sorry for her having bad etiquette for a moment." Darnell said, handing out a business card to her, "Let's make an acquaintance. My name is Darnell Smith, and this is my girlfriend, Coral Brook."
"I know her, on Netflix."
Heloise took the card and glanced at it, making a surprised face, "So you're the third son of the Smith's Consortium, but she said in public that you're just common friends? Oh, it means either of you are playing your own game?"
Darnell looked embarrassed and Coral glared over at him in displeasure, "What are you talking about?"
Darnell calmed her down and smiled awkwardly, explaining, "Coral is still in college. In order to let her study smoothly and not cause too much disturbance, we are going to wait until she graduates from college before going public."
"Being an internet celebrity, is she still afraid of strife?" Heloise was puzzled and said bluntly, "Mr. Smith, you aren't being cheated, are you?"
"..."
Darnell's face became even more embarrassed. Why had he not thought about this? But Coral always had hundreds of reasons to stuff to throw him off.
Coral saw Heloise's remark coming straight at her. She was so angry that she stood up, her face a greenish white, "You're simply Heloise, aren't you!"
Why could a stranger aim at her so personally?
"I'm sorry, Ms. Brook, I'm a rather straight talker." Heloise picked up her bag and stood up, "Since we don't see eye to eye with each other, I think I should say goodbye to you."
With that, Heloise walked out of the café.
"Don't leave!"
Seeing her about to leave, Coral hurriedly stood up to catch up with her, as the waiter walked over with coffee.
Coral's beautiful eyes exuded a flash of calculation, immediately grabbed one cup of steaming coffee, and said with false sweetness, "Miss Spicy, please drink a cup of coffee before you go ... Ouch."
She shrieked, making a staggering gesture, splashing out the coffee in her hand in a smooth manner.
"Unnecessary to be polite."
Heloise snapped back and flicked her hand up, unbiasedly just in time to block back the coffee cup.
Coral, who was originally about to make an accidental stumble, didn't even grasp the cup in time, and her eyes widened in horror as she watched the cup of still-boiling hot coffee splashing towards herself.
Imagine it.
Seemingly the camera shot slowing down, the liquid floated in an arc in mid-air.
"Ahhhhhh-"
The freshly brewed coffee was so hot that Coral bounced up from the ground and kept jumping there, and everybody in the café was drawn to look toward her.
"Oops, sorry." Heloise looked apologetic, "I didn't mean to, are you okay?"
"Coral!"
Darnell rushed to follow and looked at Coral worriedly.
Coral's head went blank from the pain, and she glared at Heloise in anger, "You just did it on purpose! You definitely did it on purpose. Heloise, you're the very Heloise!"
The waitress walked over and weakly said, "I just had a vision, it was Miss Brook who wanted to invite this young lady to drink coffee before this young lady turned around and accidentally bumped into it."
"You are blind in the eyes..."
Coral was so angry that she wanted to curse the waiter, but she suddenly thought that Darnell was there and there were also other guests, so she could only hold it back, pulling her skirt and fanning desperately to lower the high temperature that was brought by hot coffee.
She couldn't afford to spoil her persona, especially in public.
Her poor dress had suffered from coffee twice within one day.
What a hell.
"Mr. Smith, please take your girlfriend to the hospital now. I have to go first."
Heloise said with a smile, nodding at Darnell and turning to head out of the door.
Coral thought that she had gotten herself into such an awkward situation. How could she allow Heloise to escape?
Not on her life!
Heloise walked slowly and methodically outwards, straight out of the café and towards one of the downward escalators.
The sound of heels sharply stomping on the tiles soon followed her.
