43. Cora Meets The Twins Father

In a private room on the second floor of the Gist bar, Joe was lounging on the sofa lazily.

When Alexander pushed the door open and walked in, Joe smiled and raised his glass. "The busy guy finally made it."

"Traffic jam," Alexander replied dryly.

He loosened his collar, shrugged off his coat, and sat next to the relaxed man.

Alexander was wearing just a black shirt, but he sat up straight and in a dignified manner, a stark contrast to the man next to him, who had practically sunk into the sofa.

Joe handed him a glass of wine. "Why aren't we meeting at the Moonlight bar?"

"I'm tired of that place." Alexander took a sip of wine indifferently.

Joe nodded wisely. "Out with the old and in with the new."

Alexander glanced at him subconsciously.

"Wait!" It struck him. Joe realized the truth. He looked at the man playfully, resting his chin on his hand. "It's because you're depressed, now that Sophia's giving you the cold shoulder."
