A Paternity Test

Unfortunately, except for the date of birth, there was not much information on the test result. It was probably because the kids were too young to do other examinations.

Apparently, there was only one way to find out if indeed Alexa and Axel were Alexander's children.

A paternity test.

Ace stared at the screen of the phone in his hand, completely unaware that Alexander was watching him intently.

When he finally raised his head, he met Alexander's questioning eyes. Ace was startled and quickly put back the phone in his pocket.

"Boss… What… What's wrong?" he stammered nervously.

"What were you looking at?"

Alexander's piercing gaze gave the impression he had seen through Ace.

"Nothing! It's just some trash messages. Nothing worth dwelling on."

Ace was a terrible liar, and Alexander knew right away that he was lying.

"Really? Give me your phone."
