Riku's Battle Against the Beasts

"Human, prepare to meet your end!" After Beast captain Dora issued the order, a Werebeast sprinted towards Riku at incredible speed. His face contorted with ferocity, his fists transformed into razor-sharp claws, and he aimed to strike Riku down with a powerful punch, the wind howling as he went for the kill.

However, the Beast's hopes were dashed. In an instant, Riku transformed into a blur, moving even faster, and closed the gap between them with lightning speed. He struck the Beast with a swift punch.

"Bang!" "Crack!"

The Werebeast was sent hurtling backward, the sound of snapping bones echoing as he collided with the ground. He lay there, writhing in agony, clutching his throat, blood oozing from his mouth, his face a mask of disbelief. Although Werebeasts boasted superior vitality compared to humans, the punch to his throat guaranteed a slow and agonizing death.

"Curses!" Witnessing his comrade's instant demise, Beast captain Dora seethed with rage, his menacing gaze locked onto Riku.

"Are you truly human?" Dora questioned with a mix of ferocity and incredulity. Humans were typically considered weak by all races, and yet, here stood a human who had effortlessly dispatched one of their own.

Riku regarded him with a calm expression, forming two short swords with the flow of energy in his hand – Kanshou and Bakuya, weapons reminiscent of Archer Emiya Shirou from the Fate series.

"Human? How can you wield elemental power? Your physical prowess rivals that of our own Beasts," Dora marveled, his expression darkening as he struggled to comprehend the baffling sight before him.

The other Werebeasts shared his shock, their gaze filled with hatred as they regarded Riku.

Without warning, Riku activated his Hermes Boots, becoming a streak in the air as he lunged towards the Beasts.

"Wretched creature! Tear him apart!" The Beasts roared in response, their extraordinary senses allowing them to react swiftly.

"Swish—!" But before they could respond effectively, Riku's speed surged again, leaving the ordinary Beasts incapable of reacting. His blades sliced through their necks, sending blood spurting into the air as they fell lifeless within seconds.

The precision and speed of his attacks were no longer chaotic, thanks to Riku's acquisition of [Swordsmanship Proficiency], which had elevated him to a master of swordsmanship.

"Another one!" With each fallen comrade, Dora's fury intensified. He charged at Riku like a juggernaut, surpassing both speed and strength compared to the other Beasts.

Yet, he couldn't even lay a finger on Riku, who had become an elusive phantom.

"Swish—!" In the blink of an eye, the slaughter continued. Every second, another Beast met its demise at Riku's blades. Within moments, more than a dozen Beasts had dwindled to just five.

"Human, you leave me no choice!" Unable to bear the loss of so many comrades, Dora's Beast eyes turned bloodshot, and his murderous intent manifested palpably.

In an instant, blood burst from Dora's towering body as he unleashed his ultimate technique, "Blood Break." Crimson markings marred his body, veins bulging, claws growing to formidable lengths, and an overwhelming aura surged forth.

"The Werebeasts' Blood Break." Riku retreated cautiously, narrowing his eyes as he observed Dora. He was aware of the incredible power this technique conferred, even if its usage risked attracting the attention of other races.

"Roar—!" With the power of Blood Break coursing through him, Dora let out a thunderous roar that generated a powerful shockwave, causing Riku's eardrums to throb painfully.

In the next moment, the ground crumbled, and Dora vanished from view. Like a lightning bolt, he reappeared before Riku, extending his razor-sharp claws to strike.

This speed surpassed even Riku's expectations.
