CHAPTER 18: REASON AND CONCLUSION

Mio is laying on her bed. Thinking about what to do. She has been searching for Haru for a weeks and nothing happen. Deep in her heart she know that Haru would never die from something like that even though her effort are worthless. It's hard to understand the heart of a maiden in love. She is not alone though. Prez has been helping her since then. She doesn't want to see her sad face. She joined her in order to keep Mio sane. Mio's mentality is weak right now. Her mind could break anytime. Only Haru can ease her mind.

In fact, the reason she is still alive today was because of Haru. In middle school, Mio's parent divorced because her mother are caught cheating. Originally, her father wanted to take her too but somehow he had something to be done. So Mio staying with her mother for a while. Mio's mother brought her boyfriend with her. Mio feels uneasy with him around. One night, he entered Mio's room. He wanted to rape her. She tried to resist but he were too strong. That night, Mio's virginity were gone. She tells her mother about this the next day. But her mother said that they were able to stay here thanks to him so it's normal for him to use her. Mio shocked. Her mother never act like this before. It's all because that guy. That night, she decided to commit suicide. She can't stand it anymore. Seconds later Haru rushed into her room. He cut the rope and catch her then slowly puts her down while hugging her.

"Sorry for not arriving earlier. I was away in another town yesterday. I've avenged you. Don't worry."

He is always there for her. She hasn't told anyone about what happen but it seems that Haru just know about it. He always know that something is wrong. Behind him, Mio can see blood flowing through the door. There also some blood on his shirt. She then fainted. The next day, Mio's father is sitting besides her. After she awake, her father told her everything that happen. Turns out last night a robber enter the house and kills both of her mother and her boyfriend. But she knows that's not real. Because just behind the hospital curtain, there's Haru. Mio know how many person Haru has killed just for her. But she doesn't care. That's what makes her falls for him.

As she laying on the bed. She tought something;

"Tomorrow is going to be the last day we search for him. After that, if nothing were found then, I would jump to the abyss. Together with him. If Haru die then I should too. I'm nothing without him. Just an empty shell."

Then she sleeps. Waiting for tomorrow.

"I'm sorry Mio. But it's not the time yet. In order for the plan to suceed I need him to get stronger. So you need to patience." Said Himeko who is standing in front of Mio's room for a while now.

"Are you sure he is still alive? If he is then how about telling Mio about this?" Ask prez who has been watching her from the start.

"No, I can't! Slowly but surely she will find that out by herself. But now isn't the right time. She will find out that Haru is still alive by tomorrow but she can't meet him yet. If she did then my plan would be ruined."

"What kind of plan actually?"

"The plan to bring us back to Earth."

"Why? Didn't the king say that he would send us back when we kill the demon king?"

"The king lied."

"How can you be so sure about that?

"I use my power."

"Ouh. That kinda explain everything. But why the king lied?"

"To gives us hope. He wants to use that as a motivation for us. But he has no idea to send us back. Later, when we kill the demon king he will say that the gate between two world has been closed and that gave us no choice but to stay here. Pretty smart but I'm always one step ahead."

"Unbelievable but I trust you for now. So what is your plan?"

"In order to sent us back, Haru is the person who can do it. Only him no one else."

"And how is that? How he going to send us back?"

"He need to become a god. A god greater than other. A perfect being."

"Am I inside a cult right now? Like how crazy can you be?"

"As crazy as he want. I'll follow whatever he say and I'll do whatever he ask. That is my love for him."

"You do aware that Mio love him right?"

"So, what's wrong? I'm fine as a second. We are not in Japan. Besides, what law can stop him once he become a god?"

"Everyone I know is total maniac. Mio is suicidal, you are a stalker and Haru is a- wait Haru is actually kinda normal."

"Are you sure about?"

"If course, duh! He isn't some murderer or something. It's late. I'm going to my room. You should too." Prez said then she enter her room that just beside Mio room.

"You have no idea about what you are talking about. But that's fine. We shall see it, sooner or later." Then Himeko walks to her room.

SOMEWHERE BEYOND THE CELESTIAL.

"Is he the guy who will come here and challenge me? He does have potentional. But he need some more time." Said the girl in black gown.

"He may not ready yet but you need to always be prepared, Leviathan."

"Don't worry Lucifer. I will."
